you can fast forward that by combining the Lavaproof Hook/Lavaproof Tackle Bag and Hotline Fishing Pole, wear the mentioned accessory then use the pole

it will make your lava reels more frequent

but those 2 mentioned items can take very long to get, especially Hotline Fishing Pole

I managed to make the Lavaproof Tackle Bag legitimately, it is honestly an extremely handy fishing accessory

you should kill destroyer first then, since it's pretty easy. all you have to do is build up 100 or so blocks and make a platform with any block and wooden platforms in the middle to reach destroyer. Then use a daedalus stormbow with holy arrows. Destroyer will not be able to reach you from your platform. just take care of the probes he spawns in every so often
