horizontal movement, no. but it flies quite nicely and it also falls SUPER fast, which is nice for dodging things in boss fights. you can quickly mount and dismount to quickly dodge downwards. it was quite helpful for solar pillar where i would use it to force-land myself when the crawtipede starts chasing me

its a nice tool to bring with you for bosses that hellbridges dont work well on

its also nice for quickly falling down a hellivator

i never understood this: why does everyone say obsidian armor is the best summoning armor to use through the vast majority of HM? it has awful defense and only 1 minion slot. as opposed to something like spider armor that has 3 or hallowed that has 2 plus a ton more defense

Obsidian armor is just really broken - it's true that you could very well use this to the end of the game with the armor (though ofc you'd have to contend with the low defense, the only major drawback)
