theres a spot on the wiki that goes over this. essentially ontop of your health pool, your character has a "lifesteal pool". it holds a maximum of 80hp and recharges 36/sec. spectre armor pulls from this pool. when that pool is empty, it wont heal you anymore until it recharges (it doesnt have to recharge fully, but its in chunks at a time). also from what i understand, it can go into the negative, so if you deal a single massive hit, like with a nebula blaze on a solar centapede (they take 10x damage to counter their massive hp pool), youll heal a TON but then wont get any healing at all for quite some time as it tries to go back into the positives

You can make an arena in the Golem chamber you know

just 1 layer of Platform on the top of the chamber is what you need
