@fringe moat hey btw to answer your question earlier in a more concise manner, theres a few things i personally use things like piggy bank and safe for:
- coin storage, duh
- im on mediumcore, so i keep backup stuff in my piggy i can use at any time during a corpse run
- keeping my summon staff in there so i always have it with me without taking up inventory space
- i do a ton of fishing, so i keep much of my fishing gear in there so i always have it with me whenever i need to fish
- you may be content throwing things away, but im a hoarder and like stockpiling everything. please respect that other people have different playstyles
- i like lighting up my caves with torches instead of just running through them with glowsticks. that way they stay lit for next time and i also dont have to fight in the dark.
for placing torches, i use smart cursor. but smart cursor likes to throw glowsticks instead. so i stash the glowsticks in the piggy whenever i get them - piggy is great for stashing quest fish so i can continue grabbing more before handing in the quest
