Is there any way to stop goblin armies from spawning? I've fought two in the last 30 minutes almost and another is just about to spawn. Im playing on expert mode so they are able to break down doors, And I really dont want my NPCs to die. This wouldnt be an issue if I had good gear, but im still early pre-hardmode

As for what mech boss you should fight first, it depends on your gear and accessories. If you don't have much mobility, Destroyer might be the easiest.
