honestly if i could remove any feature of Terraria, it'd be the Evil Biomes, i like the IDEA of a monstrous biome spreading through your world, but in practice, it's just a really annoying chore that you have to keep up with during Hardmode, and there is always this looming fear of it somehow getting to your Jungle and the entire game being ruined for that world. Whenever i deal with the Evil i just feel like i'm doing virtual dishes, and taking out the virtual trash, and doing other various virtual tasks, and it really takes me out of the loop of "go underground, find stuff, use the stuff to go further underground, find better stuff, kill boss, use the boss loot to go into different biomes, use underground stuff to kill boss"
maybe the loot is good, and the bosses are fun, but maybe you can just,

Problem is that you’ll need to beat the mech bosses to get the materials for them, all three for the bars to make the turtle armor and beating them in general for hollowed armor
