You need to do 8x60 (hours into minutes) then divide it by the number of minutes in each day (24 minutes) which is 480/24 which gives you 20 days, there's a 22.12% chance of it occurring each day (or a 77.88% chance of it not happening) so then you need to divide 77.88 by 100 which gives you 0.7788 then you need to do 0.7788^20 (because 20 days had passed) which gives you 6.737811502x10^-3, then you can move the decimal point back 3 times (because its to the power of -3) which gives you 0.006737, then times by 100 to turn it into a percentage so its a 0.673% chance or 1/148 (100/0.673)

if you wanna make afk farm make sure you dig out 84 blocks to the left and right of the player and 47 above and below from the centre which is the max spawn distance (168x94 tiles) you should make it a bit bigger anyways just in case you don't put the box in the right place or if you're farming manually (it has to be this big or else enemies will spawn in pockets and will prevent other enemies from spawning after a while making it ineffective)
