First, if your issue is that your games saves wont sync, try right clicking on the game in your Steam library and selecting Properties. no. i like that difficulty depends on char instead of world. i like the reseaerch and duping thing, mainly for building exotic and otherwise expensive builds with all the blocks, i like the powers because i can test farms and things in a timely manner that wasnt possible before. also i hated grinding for critical resources from low drop rates, it was too much, but with journey mode powers it just takes that aspect away while still having to progress.

i was also scared to use potions because they cost so much resources to make, and some of those ingredients are hard to get, so i didnt wanna waste em, but now i buff all the time in journey mode

i like being able to go ham with building and not have to worry about resources
