Crimson is better for 3 reasons

1. The ore (crimtane) is worth more than the corruption equivalent (demonite), so you make more money from farming the boss.
2. in hardmode, underground crimson enemies drop "ichor" which is a material used to craft items and weapons that reduce enemy armor by 15, which is HUGE. The corruption equivalent is MUCH much worse.
3. The BoC (accessory u get from killing Brain of Chtulhu) feels much better to use than worm scarf.
