Defeating the Twins. They're a mechanical boss. They'll spawn at night if you've destroyed altars using the Pwnhammer, or you can summon them by crafting their summon item.

Anyway, a basic arena is just long rows of platforms, plus a campfire, a heart lantern, a star in a bottle if you're using magic weapons, and whatever other useful things you want.
Make sure there's multiple rows of platforms, so you can jump up and down for mobility.

Try layering an ocean with a jungle biome. It'll increase spawn rates for everything including squids
