My current problem with Terraria on the PC is that I actually can connect to my friend's world, but I disconnect literally every 5 minutes; not joking, every 5 minutes. I am able to automatically reconnect to his server via Steam and yet again, "Lost connection" after 5 minutes. I have tried everything, from verifying integrity of game files (my other friend who plays on this server did this as well), made sure we're all on the same version of the game, created a new character on a new world, restarted the original server, re-installed Terraria, re-installed steam, restarted my PC, you name it. I was thinking that it was an internet issue but realized that all of my other online games work completely fine. We spent over 3 hours trying to figure this out before we gave up. What's odd is that we have played the game for over 60 hours without any problems until today when this started happening. This is so frustrating because I've been having so much fun with this game and I don't want to stop playing it because of this stupid bug. (1 thing more, this is from a youtube video but i also have the same problem)

sadly, i lost my world but its not that big of a deal cuz i had all my end game stuff on my character, like my zenith, solar flare armer, all the accessories, etc. The world was whatever, only thing i miss was the money farm and the chlorophyte farm but its easy to remake

Check if your pc is fully up to date and if that still doesn't fix it then i recommend to go into windows safemode and do a diagnostic and check that for errors then if there is any, lookup a video on how to fix it or reinstall the piece of software.
