for armor and accesories use hallowed armor for dodge attack chance and pair it up with these accesories

1. master ninja gear for dodge attack chance
2. brain of confusion for dodge attack chance
3. Cross necklace for avoiding rapid hits

the rest is of your remaining accesories are for your class... i recomend range but melee is good you can use berserkes glove and other accesories

thats all i know

if you choose to fight the night version then run your normal stuff like defense or anything tbh

but for empress of light day version just prioritize in dodging

also remember to use rod of discord very useful!
