its considered fishing junk, so going for a pond with just enough water to fish in and/or downgrading your fishing equipment (like using a worse rod or bait) should help find it
if you got the accessory from the Angler that tells you your current fishing power, it also tells you the penalty if you're fishing on a small pond or if the pond is too small to fish in at all

Changing the entrance of the dungeon is a great way to break cultist spawns. They're a pain to fix.

i would break some altars in your evil biome spawn in some new hardmode ores and mine those up, try to get either adamantite or titanium armor and then you have a few options like flint or shadow flame knife too

I'd say it's only really Beater, maybe Tactical Shotgun outside of Dungeon or Temple, that are inaccurate enough to warrant their use in the first place.
Nano Bullets lose a third of their damage (the final damage, not the bullet/base damage) on bounce, so I'd consider the smart bounce more of a bonus to make up for missed shots rather than homing to rely on.

the flower spawns on grass within 10 tiles of a tombstone, so i hope you have the graves spread out so you have a huge area where it can grow

So I had the Dye Trader living in a Desert biome outpost that is rather far away from my initial spawn point (separated by 1 stretch of Corrupted land, a Snowy Biome, and another stretch of Forest land + Dungeon) - How can I fast-travel into such an outpost (and also how to properly safely navigated Corrupted land)?

If you can get at least one other NPC living there with the Dye Trader, you can get a Desert Pylon from him and use it to fast-travel to other Pylons you have placed in the world
(assuming you dont already have a Desert Pylon placed elsewhere)

I also learnt that the Painter also likes living with the Dye Trader - So I have to reassign his home from my base's underground chambers to an additional floor of the Desert outpost (where the Dye Trader lives)
And in terms of fending myself against Corrupted enemies - While the Enchanted Boomerang (+ Abigail's Ghost as a familiar) works for me now, how can I more efficiently deal with them? (especially Eaters of Souls/Devourers - where the former can swarm me at times and the latter sometimes causing annoyances by tunneling through where I am standing (although I know that when they are about to emerge, the "chugging" sound they make would get louder))

I imagine a flail (like the Mace found in Gold Chests) could help, since it can go through enemies so you'd be able to hit multiple Eaters or the same Devourer multiple times on a single use.
If you want something closer to the Boomerang, the Thorn Chakram is stronger and faster on top of being able to poison enemies. Though it's made from Stingers and Jungle Spores found in the Underground Jungle, which tends to be a pain to traverse because of its enenmies.

The Ram Rune, just came with 1.4.5 and can be found in the Dungeon early on, it's by far one of the best mobility accessories in the game in my opinion, i consider it a literal game changer.
I have never taken it off since obtaining it, it fixes a core issue i had with vertical movement, especially once one obtains Wings.
Better yet it can be cancelled with double jumps, giving even more flexibility on air movement.

It is, and most people to my knowledge don't like Master Mode, i am one of the few that actually do, i can't stand playing on Expert or lower, as they feel like pushovers.
Only Master has given me a serious fun challenge to play with, i mostly enjoy longevity in games while not overdoing it, and personally Master fits that deal.

Why do people not like master mode?

Most just don't like it's highly enemy buffed HP and damage pools, for me just makes me have to adapt and learn Terraria's movement systems better.
And Ram Rune fixed alot of issues i had with that, Wings in the past often got me killed once they got tired and i did not realize i was slow falling, putting me at a sitting duck during boss fights.
Ram Rune completely fixes this.

Actually kinda disappointed in the Lunatic Cultist, coming right after killing Empress, he was an complete joke.

coming from a player who is also almost brand new the wiki is your best friend and really helped me learn the game another tip i wish i had going in would be dont be afraid to switch classes if you find a cool weapon/set you wanna use on the wiki switching classes just requires enough farming/time to get the other stuff also dont be afraid to use everything to your advantage to get by like even if your not a summoner having a sentry to deploy/1 summon even can really be a big help when you need to afk/gold farm plus extra damage can't hurt. btw i have only 19hrs in the game so maybe im not correct in all this but its what i wish someone would have told me starting out

Off topic here but I think they should add a feature where if you push two townspeople or a townsperson and a creature into the shimmer you get a new townsperson that sells exclusive things themed to that creature’s drops or something. Maybe too many possibilities
