Update the version number in pack.json, then reupload it the same way. Only need to reapply the thumbnail if you're changing the thumbnail. For some reason it likes to set it to private on updates by default, change it to public or friends only or whatever you had it set to before

Whenever i try to either create or delete a new character or world, the game crashes, and favoriting characters crashes, and all that. i have uninstalled terraria, reinstalled it, validated the game files twice, deleted and validated, uninstalled and revalidated, and idk what's going on honestly.

Perhaps when they drop cross-platform play they will have a solution. I can't see them just adding it in a patch because it needs to be thought out to make it fair, but also if I had to guess, it probably isn't something that is a quick one and done thing. I could be wrong though.

@vital zodiac We're looking into how to improve the experience of Terraria on different hardware. One difficult issue we're currently eyeing is the increased use of widescreen monitors from players. Terraria was never designed with sizes over 1920x1200 in mind, as this really wasn't a thing back in 2011. Expanding the viewable space has a significant number of gameplay, visual and performance considerations, such as how enemies appear/spawn near the edge of the screen, biome detection, background layouts, interaction and aiming ranges, and in some cases combat fairness. While we're not sure what form we're going to take to address this, we want to share that it is on the radar.

my recommendation would be to have a 40 mud blob (5 wide, 8 tall), with 1-2 chloro as seeds, then you do a gap of 40 tiles, then you do another mud blob, and just repeat that pattern again and again
40 is the largest a vein of chloro can be (normally anyways, not sure if skyblock changes that), so that why each mud blob is that size
with a gap of 40 tiles inbetween it'll only detect the 2 closest neighbours, and thus avoid the large area growth slowdown check

needless to say theres a TON of chests underground
i've also found like ~5 moon charms which supposedly have the same odds
i generated the world in 1.4.5.3, so idk if it was patched out (bc honestly it sounds pretty busted)

if you are joining from your own PC you do 127.0.0.1:<port>, if you want other people to join they have to join by your actual IP, just google "what is my ip" and click any website lol (port will be 7777 if you didnt change it in the server config)

if it still doesnt work for other people to join after setting up port forwarding properly, you're probably behind a cgNAT, and only way to get around that would be contacting your ISP to get a static IP

In my melee playthrough, I raw dogged the WoF first try with the night's edge because it let me hit both the mouth and th eye at the same time

no potions no nothing

the platform I had built let me run at specter boots speed and dodge literally all lasers

hardest part about fighting it as melee is that it becomes faster than full speed spectre boots at the end (at least on master/legendary)

but the new roller skates mostly solves that issue

And even then I used to no consistently no hit it because of how much easier the melee playstyle is compared to summoner 🥀

Like I legit just held A and left click while aiming up and to the right and that's it

summoner is kinda busted too, pretty much the highest dps through most of hardmode if you build it correctly

but pre-hardmode (especially wof) can be a struggle

you kinda need to run a mix of minions for it to be effective, not just 5 of a single type

yeah i mean if you can keep close to it so you can continously whip the upper eye that is probably best, but with the mix you dont have to keep close all the time

The only ways to spawn KS is through slime rain, killing 100 slimes, or using the slimy crown

One of those conditions is def not carving out a mini hallow biome post golem

a ton of new and very strong enemies spawn everywhere, its more difficult for sure but also more rewarding. for me pre hardmode is like the intro of the game kinda
