If you right click terraria on steam and manage -> browse local files... you should be able to run a dedicated server with steam joining option, can the host please do that and let the other one join? you should be able to see a clearer error hopefully

he can spawn on either edge so make sure you check both, also you have to physically go there, you won't be able to see the angler on the map until you wake him up.

the only way it would be activated is if you typed in the seed for it and pressed enter/clicked off
otherwise it wouldnt activate on its own, and you obviously cant choose it exclusively without typing it in

No it started raining naturally after a few days. When it did it started with boulders, then they stopped but the rain didn't so I used Journey to set it to clear. Like I can install water voiding systems and barriers but it would be a hassle to do them all over a large world

not sure exactly which one but i think its drunk or for the worthy (or both combined, someone can correct me on that though)

bringatowel starts rain like right as you spawn, it is always raining no matter what
so if it wasnt raining right away then it just happened to be rain for a really long period of time 😭

Also, I found the Corrupted Zone somewhere near the Snow Biome and dang there so many holes

the holes in the corruption are just part of the terrain! some of the holes will be a dead-end, but most will lead all the way down into a long horizontal tunnel where you can find some interesting stuff :D
