Is the bee armor or the obsidian armor better for skeletron? I have a snapthorn and an imp staff for my weapons.

Obsidian usually, since he usually stays in the (extended) whip range for most of the fight and the extra whip speed is helpful as well. If you're not mixing minions to get around invincibility frame issues that most pre-Hardmode minions have, then the extra minion the Bee armor grants will not be very impactful, but if you do mix, then the Bee armor's extra minion may be more valuable than Obsidian's raw damage.

If you use a more aggressive, whip based playstyle, then Obsidian armor is preferred. If you prefer to keep your distance or use lock-on summoning to force minions to lock onto the Wall directly, then you'd be better off using Bee armor with another viable weapon from a different class like Phoenix Blaster (especially if using the lock-on trick).

Personally, I prefer using the Golf Cart for the Wall instead, because it's balanced perfectly around the Wall's mobility, with great acceleration, jump height and being able to match the Wall's Expert+ (non-FTW) top speed, and you can still pair double jump bottles and Balloons with it if you wish.

what do i do to beat queen bee
I did it today (on Master difficulty) with obsidian armor, brain of confusion, feral claws, lightning boots, magiluminescence, water walking boots, shield of cthulhu, imp staff, and snapthorn. I cleared a mostly vertical space in the underground jungle so I can jump or fall to avoid its attacks, and I had some honey nearby to keep that buff on for the whole fight. I just had to jump the charges and keep moving for the stingers and that was enough to survive.

You'll want to mine out the Bee Hive at least and then close it off so other enemies can't get in during the fight. A larger, but still enclosed dedicated arena works too.
A Slime Mount or fast vertical movement can dodge her charges, various piercing weapons can shred the spawned Bees, and fast horizontal movement can dodge the Stingers.
A Bezoar can stop poisoning, while the Honey reduces its damage and provides health regeneration otherwise. Pair it with Campfires, Heart Lanterns, food and Regeneration Potions for extra effect.

Very disheartening bug I came across...
The Ice Sickle just doesn't fire its projectile every swing
If you use enough attack speed in your build, it gets down to firing 2 times every 3 swings
and proportionally less frequently the more attack speed you have
Also, the projectile itself travels farther and with high velocity
So I think it's just a matter of the game treating the projectile itself as a "projectile only" melee weapon
and the physical sickle as a regular melee weapon
Even though the wiki states that it's supposed to fire every swing

Sandgun with Ebonsand. Has infinite piercing and the sand factor barely matters if fighting the Eater in the Corrupt chasm since you can just run away from it while blasting it to shreds.

it's easier to fight it above ground, with a few rows of platforms to move around on.
rush back to the surface as soon as you break the third orb or just use worm food to summon it above ground
then yeah, vilethorn, jester arrows, grenades, dynamite even. anything piercing, and failing that, anything aoe. those'll do great damage to it
can be good to remember that every segment you break will drop shadow scales and demonite, even if you don't win the fight. so as long as you're killing segments, you can use those resources to improve your gear.

Grenades do suck vs eow if it's not classic, on expert+ it has resistance to explosives, same goes for dynamite if you're not using cheese setups

Calamity (by default) changes the Hardmode ore progression system, such that the first tier generates immediately after killing WoF, the second after beating one Mech boss, the third after the second and Hallowed Bars and the new Hallowed Ore after the third. If you go into hardmode, the evil of the world will expand like a V in both parts of the world.
It is best to prepare two holes in both corners of your jungle, to prevent it from being filled with evil or sacred zone.
But of course, you can do this during Hardmode, but remember, the more you spend more time, the more your world will be filled with evil.
I say evil because it is equivalent to corruption/crimson
