I find that most of the difficulty with fighting plantera is just the arena

also since the bulbs spawn in random places I recommend just having 1 arena and going to it after breaking the bulbs

instead of digging a new one for each bulb

for plantera you need a pretty big area

and I recommend making it rectangular too, with lots of extra space at the bottom

that way you dont have to deal with her spiky balls

theyll just fall down there

and in addition

making a big tunnel under your arena that goes down pretty far is also not a bad idea

you can jump down the tunnel during her second phase when shes faster

and either use a feather fall potion or slow fall with your wings

and it makes her second phase a breeze

her second phase is harder to dodge in the traditional square arena cuz of all the tendrils

nono she'll despawn if you do that

what I do is after I find another bulb

I make a simple path to the arena

then you break the bulb and slowly bring her to the arena

you dont have to worry about fighting her

just keep her barely off screen while you go to your arena

then once youre in the arena

fly in circles around her

I recommend 2 or 3 rows of platforms

once she goes into her second phase you can still try to fly around but itll be harder with the tendrils

or you can fall down the tunnel

Im not an expert at this game or anything Im not really that great

yesterday everything was fine, (i put my computer on sleep while terraria was still open) today i go on the game and put my world and character on cloud, then i launch the world and to my surprise, all my maps are gone, so i check the files and the .wld is gone only the two backups are there, i find the world file in the trash bin, put it in my files and now i have the world twice

both of them do not have the maps aswell

my maps are probably gone but i'm mostly wondering which world should i trust more

The two worlds are (probably) going to be exact duplicates of each other.
The one you put back in the world folder shouldn't have the cloud icon lit up on the world select screen.
The maps were deleted because you put the world on the cloud. Don't do that in the future. It's a good way to corrupt things.

Ill be using lifeforce, endurance, ironskin, regen, thorns, rage, and summoning obviously

plus an ichor flask

id suggest changing out the firecracker with the morning star for basic damage as well as increased tag damage, for the final slot in place for your wings, if your wanting to go for the higher damage deffinitly use the summoner emblem, but if your concerned about maneuverability at certain points, swap it out for some terraspark boots when you get pretty low you can just sprint away with minimal dodging to regen or wait out your healing cooldown, there is as you said the option of the cross necklace if you think your going to get hit quite a bit regardless

deffinitly dont forget about your dash when in tight situations, it might be a bit tricky to get the timings right with getting off and on your mount and sucsessfully dodge but if youve already got that down your golden

if your comfortable doing so, try getting the fishron mount and either waiting for it to rain or setting up bubble collumns with water for the speed boost, it might also be worth your time to get the celestial shell if your going to fight it at night

there could be 2 reasons that I know of

if you open the settings menu

theres an option that says zoom

make sure thats all the way zoomed our or however much you want it zoomed

if thats already zoomed out thougu you could try making sure that the resolution is right

go to the video settings and set the resolution to be the correct resolution, if the resolution is too low itll be zoomed in

so apparently the seed ImIncrediblyBored is actually pretty awesome. There's a cave just east of spawn with ||4 easy access life crystals|| and it leads directly into a ||mushroom biome||. directly above the cave entrance is a ||floating island with a lucky horseshoe||. past the cave is the jungle biome, with an entrance to the underground right at the very beginning of the biome, ||couple life crystals there too||. currently still playing it and still discovering a ton of cool stuff, discovered the seed myself because, well, i was bored.

It's going to be several times harder to set up your pylons in hardmode.
The only one you absolutely have to do in hardmode is hallowed pylon.

It looks like space, but underground. Consists of a large pool of shiny, pearlescent liquid.
Looks like that on a map. Always somewhere between jungle & ocean.

It's convenient to have a pylon there, but sometimes you can get away with using an ocean teleport + hellevator instead.
