Hi so this literally just happend to me and I'm really confused why this happened. i cant help you but i can tell you some tips

to get the voodoo doll or the guide doll, try to find a demon holding a doll with its legs

and kill it, make sure it doesnt fall into the lava

after that, make a bridge that goes from the left end of the underworld to the other end

get a night's edge, some beenades, really anything that deal decent damage

and get molten armor

cobalt (or obsidian) shield

I found expert easier my first time, but that is because I played summoner on mobile instead of melee.

As in not bringing better equipment from my old worlds, or more equipment from new worlds and all

But I suck so bad, every time I die, not only do I lose like 75 or 85% of my money, but enemies steal your money, that's what I hate about expert mode

But anyhow, I just gotta get used to and keep on trying harder, if it kills me
