What if 1.4.5 was universe update. After you defeat moon lord you have acces to different planets with different items, bosses and loot! But of course certain items like RoH and Terraformer can’t come with you. So like universe of only crimson, corruption or Hallow. And then you have to defeat the new OP bosses there and get better loot. + it would fit well with the lore. “Not only earth but other planets got infected by the Corruption/Crimson”. and then when you defeated all the final bosses on those planets you can kill the planetic boss(like Lunatic boss) that will summon the Planet/Universe events. And then summon the Lord of the Universe

why is there no keybinding option for the escape menu (settings menu, whatever, its the same thing)? the only way I can access it is to press tab to open inventory, and then manually click the settings button in the corner, and then I cant even use the escape button to close that menu, again, I have to go down to "close menu" and manually click it.

This is like, a standard in every video game to have the escape menu bound to the escape key, and be able to open and close it with that...

While I'm not sure on the "why", the esc not closing menu bit is probably because inventory is usually bound to escape. I'm able to do this, so I imagine "close settings" keybind is actually equal to the inventory key.

If your main goal is to pause the game then you can minimise it, that will pause everything in game. Ctrl + escape will allow you to achieve that in 0.5 second and you can receive calls or do something else

The first issue, I'm not sure how to remedy.
If it's the second though, terraria autopauses whenever the window loses focus (in singleplayer). Alt+tabbing to another application like discord will pause it for you.

I can find 1 mod that adds a settings menu keybind. It does not close the settings menu when you press the same button.

I keep my heal at R instead of H, making it reachable with my left-hand fingers without leaving the space bar. Alt is used for my second slot, which is a ranged weapon. The third button on my mouse is for my primary weapon. I don't use the three variants of the map, so I bind important things to the tab key instead.
