you set up a large flat area on the surface if you haven't already, then you put a teleporter and a player only pressure plate on it, wire it to another teleporter and player only plate on the other side. every time the mimic gets near you you just step on the pressure plate and get teleported to the other side 😄

Well you leanred a valuable lesson. Always make a back up when modify worlds with tedit. It can be extended to msot games and important files in real life too. You never know when your computer will have a fatal system error.

Well congrats. Though there are plenty of other ways to play. Playing only using a specific class is popular. There are secret seeds and world types to play. And a few of the secret world types offer a much greater challenge.

There is also a post game weapon that combines every major sword in the game that is fun to try to get and the empress of light has a day time fight where you can't get at all or it's an instant death and if you win you get a special weapon. So there are a few reasons you might want to play post moonlord

I tried some secret seeds too, but it just all feels the same. Yes its harder, but it dosnt feel new. I got the terraprisma before moonlord after about 700 tries haha. I played with an experianced friend and he explained the classes thing. I ended up as a mage and he went for summoner. Later on after moonlord i got the best set for summoner, mage and melee. I was so addicted to the game that i got to 300 hours in just under a month. I farmed 10 of each biome keys in afk arena for fun. I also got the teleport staff. Atm im either thinking about starting from scratch with ig calamity or some other mods that add a bunch of new bosses or wait for 1.4.5 to be released.
