For mechdusa i made 2 extremely long platforms that were just barely far enough apart for a unicorn with bundle of balloons to jump from the bottom to the top. They were long enough to completely flatten out the destroyer part so i could swap to the other platform and run the other direction. The fight was a lot easier after that

The old combat system technically doesn't exist in either game anymore. Osrs got an overhaul of it's combat. It feels similar but a lot got changed to expand it's possibilities

The Blue Moon set in osrs has an effect that when you toggle it on whenever you cast a bind or grasp spell you actually run in and get a melee hit in. So if you are auto casting grasp spells you are doing alternating magic and melee damage

hey so i just recently started playing again i used to play alllll the time but im abt halfway through this first playthrough back and last night i was playing just fine but i went to get on and it said that the load failed and that there was no backup found. I keep checking the recycling bin and the world file is there but whenever i restore it and try to play again it just goes straight back to the recycle bin

Unfortunately I am pretty busy right now but you could try copying and pasting the world into your worlds folder and maybe rename it to see if that also results in it getting kicked out

When you boot up the world it creates the backups if they don't exist I believe

like there was a regular .wld and a regular .bak but those defaulted to my recycling bin but then there was a random file that ended in .bad

and that .bad one was in my actual world folder

I'm trying to host a dedicated server, so that I can play with a friend, thus I'm setting up a VPS (my internet tends to be unstable, I don't have a static IP and am behind a carrier NAT, and my ISP is so behind the times they don't provide IPv6 addresses, and my computer already struggles with singleplayer). I'm however wondering how many resources I should allocate for that server. The VPS provider says:

4:mine a shadow orb to get the musket
5:explore the underground jungle to get the broomstick
6:build a large arena
7:fight the king slime and eye of Cthulhu
8:get the slimy saddle and use it to fight the eater of worlds
9:get meteorite and craft the star cannon
10: destroy the queen bee and skeletron
11:get the terraspark boots
12:beat the wall of flesh

That and 4000x more for pre hardmode. Enjoy☺️

Save data is stored in documents > my games > terraria, and isn't associated with steam by default.
If you've still got the old one, it should still be there.
