Keep exploring and mining, finding decent weapons, and then work on clearing the first bosses. They're easier than you think, especially if you grind out the ores for armor before bosses

I copied the seed from one getfixedboi world and have two worlds with the seed 2.3.1 getfixedboi but the two worlds look completely different with one having jungle straight over spawn while the other one had snow biome over spawn. defeating a boss is a subjective experience especially with 4 different classes, a wide array of weapons and armor and accessories, and different playstyles

for most bosses you just have to learn how to do it, but for some just dodging the enemy in any direction you can is going to get you killed like the destroyer
there is a proper way to dodge it and a wrong way to dodge it and in the heat of battle someone's not going to slow down and have the time to think "hm yes I should go up instead of down"

- full warding loadout and good jumping accessory or fledgling wings
Also set up buff stations in your arena, sunflower, heart lantern, camp fire
And even a cat statue from sand biome if you have it
I forget the name of it, black cat statue for added defense
Also use molten fury + hellstone arrows makes quick work of the hands and skull, at least from my own experience

you can drag him to an above ground arena. make the arena at the top of the dungeon/on its roof from there, set a spawn point via a bed, and when you hit "curse" instantly magic mirror/recall potion to the arena spawn point and he should follow as long as the spawn point is close enough to the dungeon

yeah usually people take out the hands one at a time or something which is honestly really bad to do as it just gives you more things to dodge including a smaller version of the deathray
so as long as they stay in his hand even at low health they wont really do anything

I let him join and while I’m taking on vortex tower, he’s bombing my base, which I didn’t know about until damage was done . So I block him, and get rid of him as steam friend, and load up a copy of my world. My rule of thumb is too make a copy of my world before I let anyone I don’t know join
