Hey, sorry if this is a dumb question. But Terraria is one of my favorite games, my buddy and I played it off an on for years, getting to endgame. It's actually my first Steam activation in 2011. Anyway, TMI but last time we played it was January 2021 and I remember some notifications saying no more updates to PC. I just checked now and looks like there's been some updates but I still have like 80 percent of achievements. Have there been significant overhauls to vanilla over the last four years? Or just minor adjustments.

💀 I guess just learn to dodge like he said. If you really want more defense, make sure your accessories are all reforged to Warding, but if you're good at dodging, usually you want Menacing instead for more damage. Moon Lord is pretty straightforward so look at his attack patterns; you have to telegraph what he will do next. And obviously always keep moving like any boss. If you're bad at dodging, good vanilla bosses to practice on are Duke Fishron and Empress of Light. Hope I helped elaborate on this guy's tip.

All Item Worlds are maps created by other people that contain all item of the game and usually boss arenas, fishing pools and all NPCs for you to use easily.
You didn't know you could obtain maps from the workshop ? There is a Terraria worskhop on steam where you can downlaod textures and maps and musics

Make a long bridge out of stone blocks and use mage or ranger class weapons. Melee and Summoner class struggle fighting against WOF but that doesn't mean you can't use their weapons. Also I recommend using beenades.

If you're melee i'd reccommend using the night's edge as it bassically counters the wall of flesh aswell as blow up those buildings with dynamite and make sure the path is mostly clear. Either use water walking potions or make a platform to run across. That's how i beat it and for vertical movement i used tinkerer's boots, balloon, and sandstorm in a bottle and for horizantal movement i just had hermes boots and the shield of cuthulu (i have a seperate world for expert unlocks)

Btw hermes boots was before i knew what teraspark boots were

I'd recommend teraspark boots if you can get them. They are prehardmode and good as you can walk on all liquids with them and do the run like hermes boots

question about game mechanics, does anyone know why when I'm fishing in a sky island, my fishing power will start at 94, then a few moments after i cast or as soon as a fish is hooked (bobber starts to bounce) it suddenly cuts in half and my fisherman's pocket guide reports 48(-48% penalty) then changes back to 94 right after i pull up the fish? It doesn't seem to do that consistently and I'm just wondering what causes it.

okay the new area with an artificial 20*15 pool seems to work fine with no wierd penalty. Its either the presence of the harpies, or its the amount of water. Im thinking its probably the water, though it looks like it should be enough perhaps it isnt. Or its calculating it incorrectly because of the odd shape maybe.
