some ISPs provide a "white" static IP for free on request, some will charge extra for it, some will not provide it; if you want to host a game server on your own PC, you need a "white" IP - it doesn't necessarily have to be static, but if it's not, you'd have to set up DynDNS, which is something i have no experience with
so tell your ISP's tech support that you're looking to host a game server and ask if they provide static IPs with support for port forwarding for that

downward would require activating actuated blocks on and off alternatively like for hoiking small items, because of their small size, that's not something I'd recommend trying

wdym by that ? if you want to delay some trap's activation it would be easier to do so using a timer that shuts itself off or with a dart trap aiming at a teal pressure pad

@haughty slate I mean like, 6 rows of traps all 6 are on different timers, the crab falls activating one after another pretty quick, on say a 1 second timer so the traps activate top to bottom and always going instead of all traps hittijg at one time since mobs can only take so many hits per second.

I'll just use a walking mob instead then since I can make one move through into an isolated lava pit after activating the plates

I guess you're genuinely asking the question so I'll add my thought to it (but no more because of what Overg said) : this is the official terraria discord where the devs are. Even if it's really about money you cannot ask how to pirate a game. Would you go into a store and ask a random customer "how to steal stuff in here" right under the nose of the owner ? Even if there is no ill intent it's still incredibly wrong. The devs team has been working for 12 years on Terraria they deserve our money. Especially when you compare it to the amount of dlcs, battlepasses and straight up micro transactions you see in the world of the video game that isn't in Terraria at all

We have an amazing dev team and it's a rare treasure that we must cherish.

So the least we can do is respect them
