Did they change how hallow spawning works? I just killed the wall of flesh and instead of a hallow biome there's now a massive new corruption biome that ate my desert town

I tried smashing a bunch of altars to see if that will cause the hallow to spawn but nope

It has always spawned the same. After WoF there will spawn a V shape that goes from the bottom to the top of your world with corruption/crimson on one side, and hallow on the other

With a clentaminator and some elbow grease you can restore it. You don't have to clean all of it, just dig out an area around the town and clean that. You can clean the rest at your convenience

With the clentaminator that would be unnecessary. DIg down to the sandstone and make a rectangle around the town. Then clean all of that. It's a little rough, but it'll do the trick. Make sure the gap is 5 blocks wide so the corruption won't spread back in, and remove the walls from there too

Rogue Like mode.
You make characters on Hardcore mode and you try to clear a world with them. It's a rogue like because you use the same world, it's just you lose your gear every time and you have to get your previous character's tombstone and put it in a graveyard.
I kind of want to do something like that, but I know that I'll probably get fed up with it after a bit because you'll have to manage your inventory a lot and if you lose some items you're kind of screwed.

well, if i remember the nymph only spawns on underground (a rare enemy) and she appears as lost girl on the Lifeform Analyzer.
Tim in other hand will to spawn only in underground (a good way to know that a tim can spawn is if have lava around) he too apears on the Lifeform Analyzer, and Apparently using a gem robe without the hat increases his spawn rate

And Terraria has good options for the last two things. Also we have the most wholesome dev team of the planet
