If you use this one instead, your remote players can join via steam. You join via IP with 127.0.0.1
As a bonus, you don't have to learn port forwarding.

when I was trying to get a good zenith sword I gave up and just used shimmer to craft and uncraft it over and over again. funnily enough my first re crafting I got godly first try, but I didn't want that, I wanted legendary so I tried again. got some trash ones, then got godly again, but I was determined to get legendary... after that point I kept getting trash modifiers every single time, so I decided I would settle with godly if it came up again... but I wasn't getting it anymore. I spent a solid hour crafting and uncrafting the zenith just to get something that was usable. in the end I managed to get godly again but it took me ages

Warding is better for melee and mage especially, since fights in master mode are longer anyway i.e. you getting hit more often, the time you lose by dying with menacing is often longer than the safer fight with warden.
