yes, after the first 3 altars, which choose and add the said ore to world, the others will also add more ores but in less quanity for each altar

it depends on what you're going for. the best generically looking imo is left. the middle and right both blend together with the smooth marble walls, creating a very refined texture. unless that's what you're going for i guess. although its hard to tell on it's own, since there's only a small sample to work with, and no contextual decor or story attached to the image you have provided.

the flying knife has a rarity of light purple while the chain guillotines has a rarity of pink, despite this, they are both the melee weapon drop for their respective biome mimic (hallowed mimic for flying knife, corrupted mimic for chain guillotines). Weapons that are other's match normally have the same rarity (eg light's bane & blood butcherer are both blue and adamantite items and titanium items are all light red rarity)

I would recommend killing duke for the wings, they are awesome

The post-Plantera dungeon is a good place to go for better gear

The Solar Eclipse also has some new foes after Plantera that drop some great loot
