That’s a pretty good idea. The start of hard mode is a huge shift in difficulty and it gets hard to do anything like that until you get good hard mode gear

Also, fishing in hardmode has better crates and rewards, but if you’re looking to finish your fishing quests, then yeah doing that in pre hardmode is best

Generate a bunch of small worlds and use a world viewer to see if you can access hell/ the jungle temple because you need them to progress

Killing king slime for the solidifier is helpful for blocks/ platforms, etc

Get a piercing weapon for the creepers: tendon bow + jester arrows, grenades, vampire frog staff + the snapthorn, demon scythe, blade of grass, etc

For the second phase you can kind of use whatever, stun locking weapons would be best

This problem is actually what got me to create the game backer application very long ago. 99% of any corruption that happens within this game is due to the PC suddenly turning off. (power loss exc). The very simple solution to this is by enabling windows file back up for that folder. Let’s you restore earlier versions of the file. And even more practical solution is for The game developers to simply fix back up files working as back up files.

it'd be very nice if this games files could detect an error and not have a heart attack then corrupt itself, but yeah also the case of said back ups not working, the saves being in the documents folder, lots of technical issues. I can look into adding the windows restore option. I think I originally had it in but nobody really made restore points but I'll have to tutorial that too. The main issue is newer players don't know how easy it is for files get corrupted so once that happens there is little to do to actually fix it, it is only until after your first file corruption where you learn how to prevent it
