+25% max HP and can recover tons of HP by using a health potions after getting hit multiple times in a short span or one very damaging hit

Rampart of Deities as far as I'm concerned is very overrated

It seems broken on paper but as common with Calamity, much of its effects in practice are gutted to hell and back

compared to the ingredients

rampart just feels like a glorified cobalt shield for people that use dashes other than asgardian aegis

1. Knockback immunity is kinda irrelevant because you're also most likely running Asgardian Aegis
2. The natural regen is halved from Band of Regeneration
3. The i-frames are severly reduced to the point it's like 3x or 4x less from Cross Necklace
4. The Frozen Shell effect is just nerfed and not too impactful in general

im not necessarily against changing how tag damage works since that does make it easier to design minions without accidentally making sth op but 1.04 feels a bit too low even for an early game whip

like i get that its multiplicative but its not like you get much damage boosts early game anyway

for summon its more minion slots

Multiplicative tag damage in general fundamentally cannot work well in early Pre-hardmode

You'd need to have effect like 1.3x or 1.4x tag damage at least to make it work, and well how does that look for Hardmode once minion base damage gets higher?

That's why Flat damage needs to be in pre-hardmode

Not realizing that fundamentally, combining multiple source of DPS is always going to be strong

and fact of the matter is

Hybrid sidearm are WAY better than Snapthorn, in spite of the 25% summon penalty

But some of them, even when shown my video diving deeply into all this with extensive evidence, will just bury their heads into the sand and just say the opposite of my conclusion with zero and/or already-refuted/invalidated substance to back it up

or you can just make a standard afk farm in the cavern layer/jungle and you'll get a ton of mimics too
