You can try attacking him while he is shooting cursed skulls, but it will be harder, so its recommended if you try attacking him on his spinning phase. While you are running from the spinning phase, make sure to get a bit closer to hit him even if you are not looking at him, since the sword can hit 180°. Make sure to practice the skulls.

You can try this (it worked for me though): Go left when he shoots a skull on the right and vice versa, just stay under him. Dodge when a skull coming towards you.

Lifeforce can only be crafted in hardmode, you can only get it naturally on shadow chests (which require a shadow key to open, but the key can be used infinitely), shadow keys can be found in the dungeon, in golden locked chests.

Shadow chests are found in hell

But if you're lazy, don't do it. It's optional.

Potions will always carry you when battling bosses.

You can try getting the Flask of Fire from 3 Hellstone and 1 Bottled Water, Crafting Station is Imbuing Station, bought from Witch Doctor (requires to kill Queen Bee to move in). Flask of Fire makes melee and whip (summoner weapon) attacks inflict the On Fire! debuff which sets enemies on fire for bonus damage

I dont understand what you mean, tho my building philosophy is that I try to make a house as "immerseive" as possible. So I only use stairs that an NPC can actually climb, and i try to add atleast a bedroom, kitchen, and a comfort room as a minimum

each wet+lava+regular bomb produces ~28 obsidian (enough to craft a skull)
if the demolitionist is happy (underground and next to the tavernkeep) it costs 41 silver to buy all three bombs
if you craft and sell the obsidian skull, you get 90 silver back
which makes a profit of 49 silver

if you make it into hellstone bars (which requires a bit of extra mining)
you get 15 gold for 28 hellstone bars bombs instead
