graveyard biome has a similar effect to the shadow candle as it reduces the effectiveness of the spawn reduction brought by towns, shadow candles outright nullifies it however. If you want to increase spawnrates then use water candles and battle potions

Apparently in my expert hardcore run, the Destroyer heard that and went 'I'll take that as a challenge' on about the third night of hardmode when I had only the Night's Edge and palladium armour. Apparently you can teleport away, heal with the nurse, and then teleport back and it can still be there.~ I beat it with Night's Edge
