Drills are better if you don’t have any mining speed bonuses/plan to man in your full battle set with no additional mining based boosts.

If you use any mining speed boosts at all, pickaxes are better as they benefit from mining/swing speed while drills do not.

It’s a very fun class with a lot of skill expression. It’s also the class with the sweatiest players lol.

Kinda by force as not knowing certain things with summoner boxes your dmg potential a lot more than, say, a blind melee or ranged playthrough.

A uninformed melee or ranged is still going to deal fairly effective dmg even if they lose out on some. An uninformed summoner instantly loses 1/3rd of their dmg (not counting stacking)

(This is me specifically talking about for bosses, which is where dmg actually matters)

I don’t blame you. Blade staff basically requires you to stack to deal effective dmg. Vs sanguine has pretty good base numbers and isn’t reliant on stacking in the same way.

I mean, you can get blade first and use that to get sanguine. I use sanguine as my general use summon for all of early prehardmode. Bladestaff for twins and skeletron though.

Depends. It does fairly well on mix dragon/cell setups. But full dragon with firecracker or 3 drag 6 prisma still probably deal more consistent dmg.

It’s more like Zeno. It shoots a tracking projectile that can’t miss that does dmg over time.
