Bottled honey when drunk restores health + grants the honey buff, upon consumption the potion sickness will be inflicted

However when you use quick buff, only the honey buff will be granted (without restoring health or causing potion sickness) meaning you can drink a restoration potion after (better than a healing potion)

when you beat wall of flesh, a big chunk of your world turns into corruption/crimson and another big chunk of your world turns into the hallow biome (which is unlocked when you beat wall of flesh)

some of your housing is probably in the big chunk that got corrupted, and NPCs can't live in the corruption/crimson

the way biomes work is that if there are enough biome-related blocks near you, you're in that biome

so if there were like a lot of snow blocks near you, you'd be in the snow biome

same thing with the corruption

you don't have to be standing on crimson blocks or anything to be in the crimson, you just have to be near enough crimson blocks

the easiest way to fix it is to beat a mech boss and let the steampunker npc move in

they'll sell smth called the clentaminator for 1 or 2 platinum, i forget

you can use different ammo to spread different biomes, and you can use the green solution to get rid of crimson

The only reason I didn't say to dig a tunnel is that the crimson is already right at your house! Digging a tunnel to stop spread won't do anything anymore, especially if it's in your snow biome away from spawn. If you quit trying to deal with the crimson and started to progress normally by getting your hardmode ores for armor, fighting biome mimics for a weapon, and then fighting wyverns for wings, you'd get gear that would allow you to fix the sickness and not the symptoms

I've never destroyed background walls in my corruption stopping endeavors. Just built 4 block wide tunnels and lined them with stone bricks. The stone bricks aren't necessary, just a nice touch
