there is a program on steam called tmodloader, this is a free addon for Terraria that will be able to host all of its mods. It is also seperate from Terraria itself so it gets updated separately as well as it doesn't impact your vanilla game

As far as mounts go, if you’re using ONLY the mount for mobility, fishron at half is really the only great option (and gold cart for WoF/Duke). Things like broom can be used for say, mechs, queen slime, cultist.

If using mounts situationally, like for micro movement in certain phases for empress and Duke, broom is the best, but ufo is fine.

Well, Shellphone (and its teleporting ingredients) Can tp to Spawn, Home/bed, Both oceans, and hell. There is a pylon for each major biome, and you can put them underground isntead of the overworld if you want. Cavern/shroom pylon for Underground/Aether. And Mechanic sells teleporters to get around small zones from a Shellphone TP area, or pylon.

My general recommend is ocean pylon on Dungeon side ocean, Desert pylon as clsoe as you can get it to the jungle overworld, and jungle pylon underground jungle (Or if the Shimmer is close you can use cavern pylon at shimmer to get to underground jungle.

if you replicate the one on the floor (not the one 1 tile off the floor) you can essentially stop any ground mob just gotta make it face the direction you wanna block the enemy
