well more than a few

but you can prep by isolating your important locations by mining out and leaving 3-4 blocks of empty space on all sides

Do it in multiplayer. It’ll take some of the slog out of it. A railway across hell helps a lot. It’s like a sky bridge, just underground. From there it’s like normal terraria just bottoms up

I’ll admit, I rarely go past 200 is ever. At that point I’m probably using mounts or the sky as my arena. Exceptions being wall of flesh, and sometimes skeletron.

If you’re in hardmode, Black spot from pirates will Carry queen slimes fight. For Duke 200 is enough, one about midway between ocean and “harpy level”. With a water walking.

Post mechs, plant arguably you could use a bigger space, but that’s less about plata and more about under space for the spikes to drop away from you.

Post plant, broom Carry’s a lot of the rest of the game. For empress favor fishron mount and go to half health for the double speed. For moonlord ditch the mounts and use Betsy wings with soaring insignia because you need the horizontal movement.

Try killing come corrupt/crimson mimics for a dart pistol/rifle with cursed flame darts. They go hard. If you decide on using the Daedalus bow instead, now the unholy arrows are better for destroyer than holy. Controversially just use hellwing bow with normal arrows….

Also a solid platform about a screen and a half up will help a lot, about 50 blocks wide, with normal plats out to either side you can shoot through. Solid blocks will block the lasers while you deal with probes. If you’re not playing class locked keep a sword on hand to knock back probes.

Or just a secondary bow/gun with better knock back,
