once you get later in the playthrough summoners scaling just starts to get ridiculous

even if you dont know about whip stacking the way the whips are designed are trying to get you to lean into that playstyle anyways

creating a log file can help solve an issue that doesn't have an error code

It really depends on what kind of mod you’d like, there’s lots to choose from. Some examples being mod of redemption, thorium, calamity, the stars above, consolaria, Fargos souls mod. (Note that the stars above has compatibility with pretty much all the mods mentioned and consolaria can work well with thorium as well since it is balanced around vanilla, whereas calamity and Fargos souls are balanced around their own difficulty, mod of redemption is also pretty cool but I don’t know if it works well with other mods. I would also recommend using mods like magic storage, alchemist npc lite, ore excavator as these are considered as quality of life which work well with some of the more grindy mods like Fargos souls or calamity and generally are just good to have.

Long story short, just look into mods, see what you like and try them out, also look into quality of life mods like magic storage and alchemist npc lite as some of these mods can be very grindy

you can also just make a moat four blocks wide but if there's corrupt grass it can spread over the moat

at least four. and it can spread diagonally so best to be liberal with the tunnel if you plan on trying to contain a diagonal corruption

just 4 wide 4 down will work

unless youre in hardmode

in hardmode it can spread through the underground blocks so you just make a 4 wide tunnel around it in that case

if there isnt another corruptable block at least 4 tiles away it cant spread even in hardmode

in hardmode it starts to spread through stone
