I tried, but Windows can only focus on one application, not letting you control the other player.

And I wanted to play from a second device, but it doesn't work when you are using the same Steam account.

Yea, had same problem few times. Without them it is hard to fight the eye, but there is also another strat. For melee comething shooting is required, like enchanted sword. A rail loop going up and down, about 20 block radius. By circling it all the time you will dodge most atacks. Dont know if it works now, but worked back at the day when i was doing it
