unless you want to absolutely wreck your world, sure do it. It's not practical though, sort of a niche alternative. There's lots of weapons that you can use without having to set up too much. Example cases: Daedalus Stormbow, Shadowflame Knives, Crystal Vile, Tome of Infinite Wisdom, and any Summoner whip and summon you want to use.

Here's a cool fact: You can download a world in the forums that have every single item in the game in every chest. You can get items just as easily as how that guy gave you endgame items. Play how you want to play. Take the easy way out or get to play how the game wants you to play with normal progression. Your choice.

celebrationmk10 is a great seed for a pretty easy start, you start with 4 NPCs on the beach, a lot of houses are made with glowing rainbow bricks so they are easier to spot. Anything you find in a chest will have one of the best possible modifiers on it. And all the bosses are super tiny

Tbh Calamity is a great mod. As someone who has gotten to the exo mechs on revengance the mod really offers a lot of great weapons. If you want to use an addon mod for calamity I recommend catalyst (be prepared for mental breakdowns). It adds a super boss called Astrageldon (REAL FUN FIGHT) and adds in a bit of difficulty to the game.

If you aren't doing any kind of class restrictions, defense beetle armor, worm scarf, frozen turtle shell, and endurance potion will massively reduce the damage you take. All of them are % damage reduction on top of the beetle armor having high defense. It makes it far easier to fight it.

Before entering hardmode I had made nights edge and everything seemed easy, despite playing on expert difficulty.
I had struggled with EoC a bit, but after beating that it was mostly smooth sailing.
Now I´ve hit a wall, despite getting every buff I could, all the potions, deadalus bow, best armor, everything.
Idk what else to improve
