I wrote a short descriptive (story) piece about Terraria before

I found a small pile of gold coins by a skeleton pile and a campfire in a cave while mining. There's almost a narrative behind this. The miner/explorer seeking treasure gets sealed in a cavern by a cave-in and, injured, is unable to dig their way out.
He travelled alone for fear that any companion would perhaps steal the treasure they find. This is a decision they now regret most. What did he find in the end? A few gold coins, of some value maybe but worth dying for?
What use is gold when you're lost and starving? No water either. Though the first problem is the air, the cavern has some but without an airflow it will eventually all be turned into carbon dioxide. The fire! He must snuff it out or lose air faster. Though at this point what difference would it make. He calls out, a fruitless but desperate act. Noone knows this place, nobody to steal the treasure, but also nobody to save him. What a fool he was, gold lust without brains. Without the fire, he is in darkness. It is a darkness so complete of which he has no experience, eyes straining for the smallest light and finding nothing. Eyes open or closed, it makes no difference. In the dark he can hear water, he hacks at the wall with his pickaxe but cannot reach the source. He can barely make a dent in this rock. He wheezes and coughs, struggling.

Tier 2 - Post-Mech (at least 1 mech defeated) until Pre-Golem

You’d need to consider the rarity of each travelling merchant item, the chance it would appear in his shop, the size of the travelling merchants inventory varies, luck needs to be considered, the current stage of the world, etc
