Gem Wands. You can make a fish trap during blood moon for thorns. Get lucky off a second shadow orb for your world evil spell. etc. If you plan to do a helevator in the first few in game days you can just get demon scythe and call it good

a corrupt statue can spawn the eater of souls enemy which can then drop the ancient armor if you're lucky, any statue can spawn underground in abandoned houses use a spelunker potion to help locate one

Gems are more common in the underground tundra. You can also get them from using sand silt and fossil in an extractinator.

Tundra is the ice biome. Look for snow and dig down.

Extractinator is a gray machine you can find in any underground chest, looks like a processor with a pump. More common to find in underground desert

If you find one gem you can combine it with a acorn to make a Gemcorn and grow more gems in tree form also

Corruption spread is legit the only thing souring my enjoyment of the game and the prospect of dealing with it sounds like such a chore..

If you play journey mode you can turn it off. Controversially it’s also fairly easy to clear it out after you beat moonlord

The TLDR of summoner is it takes about no skill to use when farming, mining or doing events. But it undoubtedly is the class that forces you to learn the boss fights and rotations the best.

Easy normal d2d play, but high skill requirement for bosses.

that and if youre doing summoner only, killing empress of light is actually the most painful thing ever because most summons dont track her very well, and the one that does the best is weak because its early hardmode.

Well, Go melee turtle armor and stack defense is the easy no skill way on most difficulties.

Eye glows, he does laser and you can either recall potion out or fly over him

or use rod of discord, but if you cant beat him, I imagine you havent grinded that item out.

As far as I understand, the way the dungeon normally generates chests is in order from the top youll get one of every item on a set path, and everything that deviates from that path in a random roll from all possible items.

This guarantees at least 1 of each item before RNG takes effect.

@warm spindle you can make a jungle farm to increase your chances of getting one, the bigger the farm, the better. They also from my understanding only spawn at least 100m away from each other, so if you find one and lose the battle you’ll have to explore a different section of the jungle away from that area to find another, im sure there is a potion that highlights it but it glows pink so walking around in darkish areas can help you spot it easier also
