after all that preparation you are ready to defeat multiple mini-bosses and bosses

first of all, go to the underground hallow to obtain souls of light for a key of light

and put one in a chest for the hallowed mimic to spawn

finally, with the souls of might you obtained from the destroyer, you can craft the megashark

use the bullets of your choise for that

the megashark requires the minishark, which is bought from the arms dealer, illegal gun parts, which are bought from the arms dealer at night, and some shark fins, obtained from sharks in the ocean biome

use the megashark with the bullets of your choice (i reccomend crystal bullets) to strike down the 2 remaining mechanical bosses

then go to the underground jungle and set up a life fruit and plantera bulb farm, which start growing now

to create the farm you have to do a few layers of mud with a 3 block space between the layers and jungle grass on the mud

then keep harvesting the farm without breaking any pink plantera bulbs until you reach 500 health

when you get in, check as many chests as you can for lizhard power cells and make a small arena inside the final room

use the power cells on the altar in the middle to summon golem

after you defeat golem, you can go to the dungeon to summon the lunatic cultist

the four cultists that appear at the entrance have to be defeated in order to summon the boss

but look out, because if you defeat the boss, celestial pillars will appear on the world

the celestial pillars are used to defeat the final boss of the game, moon lord

i reccomend to strike down the vortex one first, as it provides ranger gear

in order to do that you have to defeat enough enemies for the shield to lower, allowing you to attack the pillar

use them at the crafting station you obtained from the lunatic cultist to craft the Phantasm and the Vortex Beater

use them to strike down the remaining pillars

when you defeat the last one

moon lord will summon in 80 seconds

so move into a big arena and fight him

the core is invulernable until you defeat the hands and the head

when you defeat the core, you completed the game and defeated moon lord

there are still a few upgrades after defeating moon lord, like vortex armor and the SDMG

vortex armor is obtained from merging vortex fragments and luminite bars, luminite bars are obtained from defeating moon lord

Depends here how you define "good."
Also, controls are simple enough, I wouldn't say they're relevant to your class choice here. Moved from Console to PC, myself, a while back, and it's.. overall fairly intuitive. Worst case, you have full ability to remap buttons, so it's sorta whatever.
