I just realized how far detached from other players I am. I just saw a video on YouTube that walked people through how to beat the game in expert mode medium core and it’s claim that medium core was so difficult that the only way to really be able to play it was on expert

And then

I realize that I’ve beaten master mode medium core as a mage solo, and now I’m doing master medium core skyblock but with only a pool of shimmer to start with

Having a lot of backup gear would probably help cut down on that difficulty. Similar to regular Minecraft, just keep backup gear in case you fall in lava (before netherite at least)

After many attempts, I think I just need a mount with lots of speed, like the pumpkin moon one or something, the bolts simply move too fast on that attack combined with sun dance I need to have a lot of speed to move away fast enough, or use rod of discord.
