You can alt-f4 after receiving the rewards, and then turn in the same fish for different rewards. It's still gonna be up to rng though, except for those specific quests where you get set items (like 10/15/20 for angler gear, 5 for fuzzy carrot, etc)

I've tried the backups but the main world and the last two backups don't populate on the worlds list even when i take .bak off the backups and delete the main. So no response there and no way to "load backup"

once you open it check the top left of the app, there is a folder icon with a picture

that's the open, go ahead and choose the world then wait for it to load in

after that go to plugins > "find sprite, block, or wall"

search for any of these tiles

after that on the bottom there should be this half corrupt half pure tree, that is your biome morph option. Just select that and morph it pure then click the blue save icon under the open button to save the world and you can exit and join your world and talk to the dryad

that's likely because it's saved to steam cloud

Locating your steam data folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\STEAM ACCOUNT NUMBER\105600\remote (the steam account number is going to be a collection of random numbers and it will be different for each person. Most likely you will only see one folder so click whichever one shows up.)

Check your steam data folder and move your world back to local. You don't wanna be using steam cloud and I suggest turning it off for Terraria. Just back up anything in the steam data folder before doing so

Disable Steam Cloud: Alt click Terraria and go to Properties then in the general tab uncheck the box "Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Terraria"

It is, you should do a pure calamity run. But if you want my advice, and keep in mind I am a masochist, you should do it on infernum. It’s a dlc mod for calam and it doesn’t so much add difficulty, but it drastically changes the AI of enemies and bosses, making a whole lot more fun
