Dreadnaut kinda hard, yeah. Vertical mobility in jump speed (frog legs, balloon) and swift horizontal movement (dash accs, etc) I think are your best friends.
If you're in Expert/Master, run tank-melee + warding accs, snag endurance and worm scarf if you can.

ok hold, there are two type of i frames, one is only for the minions, meaning the minions's iframe could interfear with another minion's attack. another type of iframe is for all type of damage, meaning a minion's iframe could interfre with your main weapon's attacks
minions uses either one of these two type of iframs
so use the minion that uses the first type so you dont loose damage due to iframs

i have a funny story so when i was new at the game i didnt do crimson never tried it only corruption and when i learnt that i could get shadow armor (which i thought was op) FOR LIKE 4 RUNS (which i give up after wall of flesh) I WOULD ALWAYS GET THE SET CASAULLY and later on i realised that each armor piece is 1/525 i still dont know how i got that much luck

I think you only need to stand in front of any dungeon wall?
I wouldn't recommend AFK farming dungeon enemies, some can hit you through walls.

True. The only thing that's changed barring the behaviour changes they get on FTW in general is the contact damage and health, and the former doesn't apply to ML at all.
Still, it's worth noting that you can do some cool things with tanky builds if you use them effectively.
I played basically the entirety of this playthrough with a defensive loadout, though not always with defensive armor, just defensive modifiers and survivability accessories. Basic enemies were generally significantly more deadly than the bosses themselves.
