I think, if the money problems were actually resolved (ie, hellfire arrow materials shouldn't sell for more than they're bought for, same for copper pickaxe, copper axe, 1-sec timer, 3-sec timer, 5-sec timer, anvil, etc), and if the functionality was more consistent (ok, so I can toss Grey Bricks in and expect to get resources back, but not Copper Bricks for copper and stone?), and its effects were more consistent (phased debuff grants invulnerability, except for when it doesn't. You don't get to know when it doesn't, until it affects you, or you look it up), new liquid is fine in concept.

What's happening is that the game runs internally at 60fps. With frame skip on, if you have less than 60 fps, the game skips frames (is choppy/less smooth) to maintain that 60 tick rate

You could also just.. rip existing assets or localisation changes that you like from any number of resource packs, and shove them into your own personal one.
Need to find local resource packs location, but once you've done that, you're golden.
Been tempted to do that for a couple that I frequently used, 'cuz they made some changes that I don't fully agree with.

Make sure you're checking with Lifeform Analyzer, and I find I often get higher spawns from grassy regions than deserts or tundras.
Evem better, though, building a hallow grass platform in the sky (below where harpies spawn, high enough that other enemies don't eat spawn cap) also helps, since it restricts spawning areas to a region that is mostly visible, and easily cleared.
Having companion guide to make sure you don't accidentally kill them is paramount, also.

You might be fishing with a different type of bait. Make sure the truffle worm has priority, can change it by placing it closer to/in the hotbar slots of your inventory. You get a little preview by your cursor showing what type of bait you have active, so definitely pay attention that as well. If you are using truffle worms, you mightn't be waiting long enough for him to take a bite - can take a couple of seconds longer than catching a typical fish would

depends on what class you're playing. i think twins is best for mage and summoner (rainbow rod, harp, optic staff), destroyer is best for range (megashark) and i honestly don't know a good use for souls of fright besides hallow gear.
