In case you were wondering, I calculated how long it takes for a year to pass for max time accleration.

Terraria's time (assuming the days are actually 24 minutes) moves 2.5x faster than our's. Journey Mode can accelerate time by 24x, making it 60x faster. It takes 6 days.

I just entered hardmode and my hallow spawned inside of my jungle. Hallow enemies rarely spawn, and I am having trouble getting souls of light to craft the meteor staff, among other things. Is there anything I can do about this?

You can buy Hallowed Seeds from the Dryad, plant your own Hallow, then use those Seeds along with the Dust of the Pixies that spawn there to craft Holy Water and spread it even more efficiently. As for Souls of Light, you can simply go down to the Underworld and follow the stripe of Hallow that generated. There should be at least some space between the Underworld and the Jungle itself, and even if there isn't, you can make a Pearlstone bridge in the Underworld or use the one you used to navigate hell if it was made of Stone Blocks.

Time passes 5x faster in a bed, so as long as you've got a decent chunk of the jungle explored it should reduce the time to find a bulb
