Spoiler free guide: 1. cut down tree 2. build house 3. go mining underground 4. get loot and make armour, weapons, get HEALTHY (and mobile) 5. Explore other biomes 6. Fight bosses, some will come for your butt without consent, some you gotta find 7. Kill bosses and upgrade your gear for the next boss 8. ask people "what should I use to beat this boss" constantly 9. eventually you beat the game yay! (also make more houses and pylon systems so you can teleport around your world easily)

I'd upgrade your armor to Molten, Necro, Jungle/Meteor or Obsidian, depending on what type of weapons you'll be using. As for the ones you have, Demon Scythe is the best, as it can pierce the Hungry and hit the Wall quite effectively. The Starfury's projectiles can be aimed directly at the Wall's weak points, where they can hit up to 2 of them at once.

Once you beat the Brain of Cthulhu or Eater of Worlds, Meteorites can start spawning. From there, you just need to mine them and smelt them into Bars.
