I then beat the game again but after another pc wipe (I forgot about terraria) i lost my second character. Now, I somehow have access to my first character, probably because of steam cloud. if you go to the recycle bin on your computer, the characters may still be there. If so, you can drag them into the 'players' folder of the Terraria folder in the file manager. I think this will bring them back.

How do people even do these challenges where they do only one type of damage? I mean you don't start with a summoning item or any way to use magic and the vultures in master mode for example 2 shot you and there's no way to get past them to even try to get to big trees to get a garbage magic wand or finch staff and that assumes there is even one in that world. The vultures literally all follow you to the giant trees and when you stop to mine the tree to get inside to loot it before you even hit tree once you die. You're basically forced to use your sword to get to those other types of things.

Wand of Sparking can be found in chests outside of Living Trees, and it's also sold by the Skeleton Merchant. You can also die and AFK near your gravestone while waiting for Abigail's Flower to spawn. From there, you are mostly set. These challenges mostly serve to make the early game harder while ensuring consistency in the setups one uses, and prevents one from getting lured too far away from the class they were intending to play.
I'm currently playing Mage on my Drunk playthrough, but I started off using Yoyos and was somehow lucky enough to get an Enchanted Sword. I then got Amazon and Starfury and it wasn't until after beating my first two bosses that I went to get my first magic weapons in the Underworld.

I'd advise playing vanilla first, since the modloader is currently several patches behind. The latest update adds tons of QoL features and new content that fills in gaps certain mods would have otherwise filled.

thats what youd call a skill issue, if its possible, it is a challenge, you can just platform parkour your way around the mobs, it will be tedious but thats part of the challenge

Yeah i've played many play throughs before and only played melee ever haha. Never really gotten a caster going because I get to hard mode before getting any magic weapons and summoner would takes 20 mins to kill a boss vs a couple of mins for a melee so I gave up on them all very quickly in the past xD

With a flying mount though, you can dodge his death laser easy. Just fly diagonally up and towards him and you'll go right over his head and dodge it easy.

Unless you have the dutchman, that thing is beast if you can get it going fast. Fastest mount in the game, iirc, but it takes a bit to reach full speed.

It might have hit your Jungle, and Hallow can't spread to Mud, and thus, cannot convert the Jungle. You can buy Hallowed Seeds from the Dryad and eventually craft Holy Water or buy Light Blue Solution to spread Hallow.

The thing is that post-game characters are so powerful that not even amping up the difficulty can provide a challenge for them, but you can use it to get Master Mode exclusive items and get to experience the Zenith's fury from the early-game.

I would definitely replace that with a better melee weapon with better range. Shadowflame Knife comes to mind. Flails can also be used to hit QS and her minions at the same time. Chain Guillotines are good for targeting QS herself and can take on lingering slimes quite well.

Night's Edge for close range; Hive-Five, Flamarang or Sunfury for medium range. Night's Edge can shred Wall of Flesh by getting up close to it, slicing through the Hungry and attacking the Wall's eyes.

It's good from after the Evil boss until Skeletron is beaten, but once you get to the Dungeon, you should upgrade it into the Night's Edge soon after, as it's much faster and has a much larger attack range. The loss of the burn effect can be made up for with the use of a Flask of Fire, or better yet, a Flask of Poison.

Depends. Offensive Summoner sets are frail, but the class has the potential to be extremely powerful. If you want to, you could stick with Hallowed armor until Valhalla Knight is obtained, but it has much weaker offensive bonuses at this point.
The whip range boosts of Tiki and the summon damage and movement speed boosts of Spooky sort of make up for their lower defense, allowing you to engage enemies from further in the case of the former, escape attacks slightly easier in the case of the latter, and finish fights faster for both.
