you can also make your own spider biome. if you have a workbench in a graveyard you can make spider walls, then you throw them into shimmer to get infested spider walls. then down in the cavern layer you place down the walls and spiders can spawn

I know, I know. A mage that can facetank destroyer probably isn't an optimal mage build, but that's how I like my mages.

Syncing is really only there in case you manage to lose your save, like you uninstall the game or get a new PC, or maybe your file on the disk got corrupted.

Sync basically just takes whatever is on your PC and saves it to the cloud, then if you launch the game and the contents of the local and cloud are different, it warns you, and if you have nothing local, it downloads the cloud save to the pc.

It's mostly there to protect against a total loss or a corrupted file, something you can also do manually by copying your save to another folder as a backup or even uploading it to your google drive if you want to transfer it to a different PC. Cloud sync makes that process easier and more effective, but if it's not syncing, you can still play the game as normal.

To actually fix the issue though, it might not be syncing as a result of network issues, or the sync may have just failed for some reason or another. You can tell it to retry or reset your network connection.

Maybe, but if someone does hurt them, they take less damage, and they return the damage before defense calc in double to the attacker.

Sure, they might take 1 damage from something, but that something's gonna feel that 80~150 damage they get back.

It's okay though, because they're always carrying invis and calm pots, plus a peace candle that never leaves their hands.

Wait, hang on, when they're alone they receive 100% of all incoming aggro regardless, threat reduction and increases only affect you if you're around others. It doesn't increase the number of threats, just the proportion that attack you specifically, which is always 100% if you're alone.

Does anyone else go to pre-hardmode worlds when they need to farm vertebra or rotten chunks?

It feels like hardmode worlds aren't good for farming them, because a lot of the spawns are taken up by hardmode enemies that don't ever drop them.

Also, this is one of my favorite changes ever.You know how annoying it is always having to keep an empty space in your inventory when you're exploring the underworld? Just to make sure that the next voodoo demon you kill doesn't accidentally spawn woffle?

Now you can just dedicate one slot to voodoo dolls, instead of returning home with half an inventory of them.

I came to this world with the idea that I would mine out the entire desert until I found a chisel. I found it in the first chest. In my other world, I opened like 30 desert chests and as many mirage crates and didn't get it. I come here for sand and plan to devour a desert until I find it, and I get it first try.

The game just played me like a fiddle, too bad I'm going to devour the desert anyways. I hate the underground desert, it's the coolest, yet most dangerous biome, imo.

The only thing I still need for the Hand of Creation is the extendo grip. That's all.

It is bad. As my melee, I have more dps and survivability, and my mobility isn't even cut by enough to care. As a ranger, I kept dying so much to stuff that I've been fighting for half of hardmode, and then I switched over to melee and shredded absolutely everything. Mage is even better than ranger, and I know because that's my preferred class.

That puts ranger in the bottom two classes, which means that it's in the lower 50th percentile. You know 50% is a failing grade anywhere you go, right?

Like I've said, I haven't the DPS or the survivability to deal with golem. Ranger doesn't give me either of the things I need, that's why I keep saying it's bad. I hit a brick wall that I couldn't push through, I made so many attmepts and kept failing over and over again.

At least on my first attempt with melee, I got past the first phase.

Then I realized that I forgot to pack more than one healing potion...

ranger does not influence your survivability at all barring the boosted defense from melee, which again, if you got killed that quickly wouldnt make that much of a difference, you can stack defense and survivability accessories on ranger just like you can on any other class

Calling ranger bad is a matter of opinion drawn from my own experiences. I've always loved ranger in the early game, but I've always considered it bad because it simply doesn't give me the survivability I need to actually beat anything.

got my zenith to do 316 damage but if you get accessories just for your weapon it could be higher
