Yeah, post-plant is when I do my dungeon stuff. Can't make a terrablade without killing plantera, so I wait until it's dead, then go in and doo all the dungeon stuff I'll need for a long time.

Oh, and cobalt shield. I look for a cobalt shield after killing skeletron.

That way I can get my ankh shield almost right after entering hardmode. I usually have almost every material before hand.

In fact, I do a lot of grinding for the cellphone and ankh prior to hardmode, and set up farms and such in the right areas, that way I don't have to deal with hardmode enemies while setting them up.

The problem with not taking a shield because you're relying avoiding attacks is that when you do get hit, you get knocked into a corner and stunlocked.

To the people who suggested using wall anchor, you can't place that on a weapon rack, and it has to be specifically on a weapon rack and not an item frame for this to work.

I just realized I'm a dumbass.

I was so tunnel-visioned on trying to figure out how to display it, I forgot that I could simply use the wall anchor as actual furniture.

Now you need to add an airlock system. A mall room that you enter from the outside, and it fills with water, then you flip a switch and it pumps all the water out, that way you can use doors without flooding it..

You also get a bonus accessory slot, most bosses have a useful drop. The expert mounts are way better than the master mounts.
